Associate's Degree in Nursing

The two-year associate's degree program in nursing combines coursework and clinical experience to prepare you for licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) as you earn an Associate in Applied Science degree. It can also qualify you for admission to our bachelor's degree program in nursing, in which you can earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) with an additional two years of study.

OU-Zanesville's A.A.S program in nursing has an established reputation for graduating well prepared nurses. Graduates work in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, home health agencies as well as clinics, doctor's offices, and hospitals.

The program is fully approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League of Nursing. After graduation, you are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for R.N. licensure.
