A Message from the Dean

Dear Alumni and Friends,

You already know that Ohio University – Zanesville provides a world-class University education to residents in Zanesville, Muskingum County and adjacent counties. But, did you know that more than 1500 students attend classes on our campus? They take advantage of the opportunity to start or complete their education right here with:

• Ten different bachelor's degree programs offered entirely at the Zanesville Campus
• Five 2-year associate degrees completely at the Zanesville Campus
• Or the start to any of Ohio University’s degree programs

Click on any of the links to learn about some of the degrees that our graduates, who continue to live and work in our region, have completed.  We provide the area with more than a thousand Licensed Registered Nurses and hundreds of certified Early Childhood and Middle School teachers. Our Electronic Media graduates work in local radio and television and our Business, Communications, BTAS and BSS graduates work in local businesses. 
As one of five Ohio University regional campuses, and as part of the University System of Ohio we continue to expand our offerings of 4-year bachelor’s degrees to bring even more educational opportunities locally.

We offer all the advantages of a small liberal arts college with small classes, individualized attention to students, and that close-to-home feel. In addition, we continue our work community leaders and organizations to explore the possibility of bringing a first-class aquatic and fitness center to our region, located on our campus. These community partners include Genesis HealthCare, the Muskingum County Community Foundation and the Muskingum Family Y.
