Charlie in the Heartland
Graduate student presenters may submit their completed presentations forconsideration in the Charlie in the Heartland Graduate Student Award Competition, in which the winner will receive an award of $250.
In order to be considered for this competition, the student needs to:
- Send your presentation proposal to stein@ohio.edu by the prescribed due date on the CFP page and await your acceptance.
- Once accepted, send an email to stein@ohio.edu by midnight October 1, 2010 that contains your complete presentation document. The document must be in Microsoft word or PowerPoint and include all images that will be presented to the conference audience (except, of course, film clips) . The first page of the document must contain the following information: Name, Degree Candidacy, School, Title of Presentation. This information should not then appear on any of the subsequent pages of the document.
- Register for the conference and make your travel plans.
- Attend the conference and present. You must present your paper at the conference in order to receive the award—no exceptions. The award recipient will be honored at the final Saturday night banquet, October 30, 2010.
