1)      Support Lace Up for Kids
It’s that time again for back to school! Some families need help with the cost, especially for expensive shoes. Rotaract of Zane State College/Ohio University Zanesville is asking for YOUR help to put shoes on those children in need! Rotaract is joining with Wendy’s & WHIZ’s Lace Up for Kids with a goal of 50 pairs of shoes to help the effort.

Bring in a new pair of sneakers (children’s size 5 to adult with laces or Velcro and soles acceptable for gym floors) starting now until Monday, August 13, and place them in one of three locations: The Information Center (main office) in Elson, College Hall Duplicating Center, or at the Herrold Hall Library.

Monetary donations are also welcome so the organizers can be sure every student has shoes in his/her size.mPlease make checks payable to Lace Up For Kids and send your check to our campus Rotaract Advisors, Chris Shaw, Campus Center T480K; or to Dotty Welch or Heather Shepherd in College Hall.
