So You Want To Be a Nurse?’ Camp for Youths comes to campus
What
does a nurse do? Ohio University Zanesville faculty and nursing
students will provide answers by allowing youths going into sixth
through eighth grade to participate
in "hands-on" activities that nurses do every day on the job.
A summer program for those in 6th-8th
grade to experience fun “hands on” activities to learn what nurses do on
the job! Work alongside OU Zanesville Nursing faculty and students in
the labs on campus! Visit "so you want to be a nurse" to register!
Facilitated
by students and faculty, “So You Want to be a Nurse?” is a fun way to
see what the nursing profession is all about and interact with nursing
faculty and
nursing students.
The
one-day workshop will be held on Friday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to 12
p.m. at Ohio University Zanesville in the Nursing Lab in Elson Hall. The
cost for the program
is $5, which covers supplies and a snack for participants.
