The Ohio University Zanesville Menís Tracer Basketball season ended with a 88-81 overtime loss to OSU-Lima in the ORC State tournament at Newark. Zack Pollock hit a clutch 15 foot jumper with 1.6 seconds in regulation to send the game into overtime tied at 78-78. The Tracers were outscored 10-3 in overtime. Jordan Wilson led the Tracers with 30 points and finished with a season scoring average of 19.3 which is among the top five in the conference. He also averaged 6.2 assists per game. The game also signaled the end of the OU Zanesville basketball careers of four-year starters Nate Stewart who finished with a 16.0 avg and 5.8 rebounds per game and Winston Turner with a average of 15.3 with 4.8 assists per game.

 

The Ohio University Zanesville Lady Tracers split two games in the ORC Womenís Tournament. In their 60-46 win over Chillicothe Kaitlin Pontious led with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Alisha Drake scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds. The Lady Tracers lost to ORCC power Middletown 99-63.  The Lady Tracers finished the season at 3-18.
