Ohio University Zanesville art students featured in exhibition
Ohio University Zanesville art students under the direction of instructors and artists, Maddy Fraioli and Mike Seiler, will be among the featured art on display at the “Study, Prepare and Achieve” art exhibition at the Zanesville Museum of Art from April 4 through June 8.The works of art students from area institutions of higher education will be featured .
Among the art on display will be work of Maddy Fraioli’s art students including Carrie Albertine, Candice Amos, Marissa Brenly, Noel Dunn, Ashley George, Matthew Grubb, Michelle Hutchison, Victoria Mordaunt, Stephen Murphy, Dalton Parrish, Jeremy Roush, Brandon Ray, Melinda Ryan, Keith Simpson, Michael Sims, Chassity Smith, Chloe Smith and Jessica Walton will have their work on display.
In addition, Charles McFarland's students including Richard Gibson, Jr., Brett Huneycutt, Michael Jenkins, Amber Minnehan, Jeremy Stewart, Jerry Taylor, and Destiny West will be displaying their work.
Mike Seiler’s art students in drawing class including Melissa Akers, Alyssa Lytton, Sarah McInturf, Samantha Schuricht and Patrick Sheets and his painting students including Ashley Dawn, Hope Gordon, Taylor Grant, John Hanifan, Amber Hartshorn, Kayvon King, Bethany Painter, Grace Peng, Andrew Punches, Kristin Schwartz, Ashley Shaw and Alexis Smith will also have work featured in the exhibit.
The Zanesville Museum of Art is located at 620 Military Road. The show can be seen on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Museum is closed Sunday - Tuesday. For more information call 740.452.0741.
