Richard Curry ('86-'88)

After graduating from Athens in 1990, Richard took a position as an account executive for an ABC affiliate in Fort Myers, FL. He now owns RCC Advertising Agency.

"I originally enrolled at Zanesville to gain the skills to be an audio engineer due to my love of music. I then structured my education from that point forward towards ad sales and advertising. The coursework at OUZ that included copywriting, audio and video production and advertising I still use to this day. The only advice I would give to students now,  simply take the direction of the courses you genuinely do well in without much effort. If it feels like a job in school, you don't want to get stuck doing it for the rest of your life." -Richard Curry
