My Last Breath Book Available
Now!
Author Josh LaRue presented My Last Breath at the September Third Thursday event. Josh became disabled in high school after suffering an asthma attack. Blind and unable to move or speak, he faced numerous obstacles and frustrations on the way to regaining his independence. Using his tongue and the process of Virtual Morse Code, Josh wrote "My Last Breath" to share the story of how he overcame these obstacles. The challenges Josh faced are insightful for those pursuing careers in healthcare, education, and social work, but are useful to anyone who faces challenges or who wishes to understand and appreciate differences.
Copies of his book are available for sale on campus. Contact Cindy Linn at 740.588.1547 for information. The hardback is $22 and the paperback is $15.
