Drug Profile: Due February 13, 2003.  

• Students will work in small assigned groups to develop a drug profile under classifications of Immunosuppressant and Chemotherapy Agents. Assignments will be distributed at beginning of the quarter.

Objectives for student review of immunosuppressant/chemotherapy agents:

• Identify general side effects of and adverse reactions to anticancer drugs
• Discuss and prioritize the nursing implications related to care of the client receiving anticancer drugs
• Identify self responsibility and protective mechanisms
• Discuss client teaching related to drug profile.
