

To meet the needs of the residents for a wide offering of courses, Ohio University-Zanesville welcomes Dr. Amy E. White to the faculty of the Zanesville campus. Dr. White holds a doctorate in philosophy from Bowling Green State University.
White has researched and published on issues of ethics and information technology and is currently writing a book in computer ethics. She was most recently on the faculty of Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From research to publication and more than ten presentations to her credit, White brings with her a great deal of experience with which Ohio University-Zanesville students will benefit.
As assistant professor of philosophy, White will be teaching a variety of unique and exciting courses at Ohio University-Zanesville. New courses that will be offered by Dr. White include Moral Problems in Medicine, Business Ethics, The Philosophy of Science, Social and Political Philosophy and many more.
A new resident of McConnellsville, Dr. White and her family, are excited to become involved in the local community. When not writing or in the classroom, Dr. White can be found restoring her historic home or exploring the local hiking trails.
