Project Hope benefits from student's passion

Angela Eymann, a sophomore in Communication Studies at Ohio University-Zanesville, helped raise funds for Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere). Founded in 1958, Project HOPE has worked to make healthcare available for people around the globe, especially children.

Eymann, of Caldwell, said working with student groups, her family and the Dean at the Zanesville campus, was rewarding and helped make the fund raising project a success. Students are encouraged to participate in community service as an integral part of their University education.

Dr. Sheida Shirvani, Eymann’s advisor and professor of Communications and Omicron Alpha and International Club advisor said, “OUZ Communication Studies students are very involved in the community and are willing to help those in need.”
