Fraunfelter
named Ohio University Employee of the Month
Ohio University-Zanesville’s records management assistant, Carol Fraunfelter, has been named Employee of the Month for September 2007. The award recognizes employees who show outstanding achievement and innovation while contributing to the mission of the University. Fraunfelter was evaluated on criteria including positive attitude and service as a role model, productivity and commitment to quality, initiative, dependability, and punctuality.
Fraunfelter serves on the Campus Safety Committee and assists with the annual recognition of graduates for the Zanesville campus. In addition, she continually upgrades her skills through professional development opportunities. “Carol answers numerous questions and telephone inquiries on a daily basis and always does so in a professional, friendly manner,“ stated her nominator, Kim Border.
Fraunfelter has been with Ohio University-Zanesville for 14 years. She received a prize package sponsored by various University departments as well as a day off with pay. “I am proud that Carol is being recognized by the University system for her contributions to outstanding customer service on our campus,” said Jim Fonseca, Dean at Ohio University-Zanesville.
