Ohio University-Zanesville nursing professor shares research in Austria

Dr. Sally Fusner, associate professor of Nursing at Ohio University-Zanesville, recently traveled to Vienna, Austria to present at the 18^th International Nursing Research Congress focusing on evidence-based practice. The theme for this year’s conference was Collaboration: A Transdisciplinary Roadmap to Discovery.  More than 300 nursing professionals from all over the world shared best practices on every aspect of nursing. 

Dr. Fusner presented Preceptorships in Nursing Education.  Her presentation included a discussion of a two-phase survey about the impact of offering a precepted experience to nursing students on State Board test pass rates as well as things to consider in the implementation of such a hands-on mentoring experience.
