Ohio University-Zanesville Students Inducted into Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society
Of the nearly 1800 students who attend Ohio University-Zanesville 45% are adult students who manage family, work, and educational success. Twelve such individuals from the Zanesville campus were recently inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta (GPD) Honor Society for non-traditional students who excel while achieving their educational goals.
Mary Coury and Regina Merritt of both nursing majors from Cambridge; Linda Todd, specialized studies major, also of Cambridge; Anthony Mayle, organizational communications major of Chesterhill; Kay Eicher, nursing major and Jennifer Johnson, specialized studies major, both of Nashport; Lyndsey Nadolson, nursing major who lives in Newark; Adele Sabol, also a nursing major of Reynoldsburg; Cindy Marshall and Sherry Shindle, both specialized studies majors from Zanesville and Lisa Waite, health communications major also of Zanesville were inducted into the Society.
Founded in 1986, the GPD recognizes the academic and personal achievements of non-traditional students on all Ohio campuses. Undergraduate student at Ohio University with a GPA of 3.3 or greater for a minimum of 21 attempted and 36 earned hours and who are at least 25 years old are eligible to be inducted into the Society.
