Community Health Forum held at Ohio
University-Zanesville/Zane State College Campus
Dr. Vicki Whitacre, Medical Director at the Zanesville Muskingum County
Health Department speaks to a group of nearly 60 students, staff and community
members at Ohio University-Zanesville/Zane State College Campus Center. Whitacre
joined a panel of including Jeff Michaels, Public Health Preparedness Officer,
Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department; Pam Canter, Manager of Quality
Management, Genesis Health Care Systems; Gerry VonVille, director of Facilities
Management for the Zanesville Campus; Jeff Gibbs of Zane State College and PK
Thamburaj of Ohio University-Zanesville. The session was facilitated by Terry
Moore, director of Campus Safety and Security. The forum was held to help
educate the community about the prevention of flu by taking precautionary
measures.
