Zanesville Campus Library staff announcements

 

The Zanesville Campus Library staff is pleased to announce that Tony Hopkins and Janelle Hubble have joined their team to provide electronic reference services, community programming and exhibits, and traditional library customer relations.

 

Tony Hopkins, library director, served in the same position at the Waterbury branch of the University of Connecticut. He also served as the Director of the Library for St. Joseph Healthcare, as a reference librarian at the Lexington Public Library and at the University of Kentucky library as a graduate research assistant.

Hopkins did his undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky where he earned a double bachelor’s degrees in History and English and then went on to complete his Master’s in Library and Information Science in 1998.

 

Janelle Hubble, reference and instruction librarian, comes to Ohio University-Zanesville from a similar position at the University of South Carolina (USC) Beaufort Libraries. She holds a bachelor's in Liberal Studies (English, psychology, education) and a Master's in Library and Information Science, both from USC.  

Hopkins and Hubble join Amy Underwood and Tracey Humphrey and several student assistants to round out the customer-oriented staff of the Zanesville Campus Library.
