Ohio University-Zanesville students have specialized degrees approved
College students who wish to select specific areas of concentration based on life experience and previous education to earn their bachelor’s degree are turning to the Bachelor of Specialized Studies (BSS) degree program at Ohio University-Zanesville. This degree program is meeting the needs of eight additional Ohio University-Zanesville students who have received approval for their custom-designed degree programs.
Nashport resident Stacey Hannum has been approved to complete her BSS degree in Early Childhood Development while Lindsay Weddington of Newark has been approved to complete her BSS degree in Social Services. Thornville resident Carrie Pickering will complete her BSS in Family and Community Relations and Philo resident, Shay Osborn will complete a BSS degree in Human Services.
The following
Zanesville residents also received approval and will work on their BSS degrees
in the concentration shown. They are Shannon Arias, Business Communication;
Rhonda Heskett, Human Resource Management and Applied Communication; Laramie
Mallory, Human Services; and Pamela Sherry, Communication and Human Relations.
