You are cordially invited to attend Ohio University Zanesville’s annual Recognition Ceremony and Reception on Friday, June 11th at 7:00 p.m. in Littick Hall Gymnasium. Graduates who have completed all or a major portion of their coursework at the Zanesville campus, Dean’s List and Honors List students, and recipients of special leadership awards will be honored. Each student will be called forward and individually recognized for his/her achievements.

We would be pleased to have you attend the Recognition Ceremony and share your academic achievements with your family and friends. Since the ceremony will be held in the gymnasium, there is no limit to the number of guests who may attend. However, due to the acoustical problems and the fact that it will likely be quite warm in the gymnasium, we respectfully request that very young children not attend the ceremony.

• Application for Graduation: When you complete the on-line graduation application, be sure to mark that you plan to attend your regional campus ceremony and choose the regional campus to be included in the Recognition Night Program. • Caps and Gowns: Caps and gowns are used in our Recognition Night program. Graduates can purchase their cap and gown at the Zane State bookstore. Do not order from the OU web site, these are for the Athens ceremony. If you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony in Athens, you must purchase your cap and gown on the Athens campus (740/593-1762).
• RSVP: If you plan to attend, please click here to complete and submit your RSVP for Recognition Night by May 30th so that appropriate seating arrangements can be made.

  • A rehearsal will be held on Thursday, June 10th at 1:00 p.m. in Littick Hall. Attendance at the rehearsal is expected. Lunch will be provided at Noon.
  • On June 11th honorees should meet in the multipurpose room next to the gymnasium at 6:15 p.m. to assemble for the processional.
