We would be pleased to have you attend the Convocation and share your academic achievements with your family and friends. Since the ceremony will be held in the gymnasium, there is no limit to the number of guests who may attend. We respectfully request that very young children not attend the ceremony in the gym, but instead enjoy the ceremony at our on-campus simulcast room where there will be toys and more freedom than at the actual ceremony.

Application for Graduation: When you complete the on-line graduation application, be sure to mark that you plan to attend the Zanesville Campus ceremony and choose the Zanesville Campus to be included in the OUZ Convocation Program. Caps and Gowns: Caps and gowns are used in the OUZ Convocation. Graduates can purchase a cap and gown for the OUZ Convocation at the Zane State bookstore. Caps and gowns ordered from the OU web site are for the Athens ceremony. If you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony in Athens, you must purchase your cap and gown on the Athens campus (740/593-1762).

  • A rehearsal will be held on Thursday, June 7th at 1:00 p.m. in Littick Hall. Attendance at the rehearsal is expected. Lunch will be provided at Noon.
  • On June 8th honorees should meet in the Campus Center at 6:15 p.m. to assemble for the processional.
