Greeting Cards

The purpose of this assignment was to create ten greeting cards. Students were required to write the 'outside' line (the set-up) on an index card and the 'inside' line (the punch line) on the backside of the card. The following are examples of the students' greeting cards.

OUTSIDE: Your mother said I should wish you a happy birthday.

INSIDE: At your age, I'm surprised you have any living relatives!

OUTSIDE: By the time a man turns 50, he should have a digital TV, a digital camera, and a digital DVD player'.

INSIDE: But what he'll get is a digital rectal exam!!! Happy 50th!!
