Humor Writing - Jour 488 During the early 1980’s, Professor Mel Helitzer created the first university-level humor writing course at Ohio University. This extremely popular class taught students the fundamentals of humor writing and included the infamous final exam--a performance before a live audience. Humor Writing (JOUR 488) is now taught by Dr. Mark Shatz at Ohio University-Zanesville. The purpose of this Web page is to showcase the work of the Humor Writing students. Syllabus |
