Students of Ohio University - Zanesville can also work for the
university or a campus-based program. There are two types of programs,
the federal work study and centralized student employment. Students
interested in either can download the Student
Employment Application here.
Student Employment Possibilities
- Federal Work Study Program: The Federal Work Study Program (FWS) involves a part-time job on-campus
or off-campus which gives the student an opportunity to gain
work
experience and earn extra money to help pay for living and
educational expenses. Students may work up to 10 hours per week
and are paid
the current minimum hourly wage. The FAFSA application must
be completed by the first primary deadline to be considered,
which
is March 15.
- Centralized Student Employment: OUZ has a limited number of jobs on campus that are funded through
departmental budgets. Students may obtain an application for
employment
at the Office of Student Services. Under this program, Financial
need
is not a consideration for employment. Also, students are
paid the current minimum hourly wage.
