If you have completed twelve hours of post-secondary education with at least a C average at an institution of higher learning, you are considered to be a transfer applicant at Ohio University – Zanesville. If you have completed fewer than 12 hours (8 semester hours), you will apply as a freshman applicant. The application process for transfer students is listed below:

• Complete the online application. (There is an application fee of $20.00.)
• Send official transcript(s) directly from all colleges and universities to the Office of Student Services. These transcripts will be evaluated to determine what courses will be accepted by Ohio University .
• Your high school transcript must also be sent directly to Ohio University Zanesville if you have taken less than 12 quarter hours (8 semester hours) of college-level work.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you have not already done so for the current academic year. Visit Ohio University ’s Financial Aid web site at http://www-sfa.chubb.ohiou.edu/html/ for more information.
• When your admit status is final, you will meet with an academic advisor to plan your schedule and register for classes.
