Writing is a fundamental part of a university education. Faculty will expect students to write clearly and concisely in an academic manner. In addition, employers often name written communication skills as vitally important to an employee’s success. This paper outlines the writing process and connects to exercises that lead you through writing a paper. This document is written in an informal voice that addresses the reader directly. This is not typical of academic writing.
