Intramurals

Intramurals offer the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports such as: flag football, 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, open volleyball tournaments, and open field soccer at a recreational level. These programs are offered throughout the fall, winter and spring quarters. Preregistration not usually required. Suggestions Welcome!

 
Fall Quarter Intramurals

Starts the week of October 12, 2009

All activities are designed for drop in participation. Equipment will be provided and someone will be there to check you in. As participation grows, we may be able to form leagues for the following sports.

To attend OUZ/Zane State intramural sports, you must be a current student of OUZ/Zane State. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Please be sure to bring your student ID each time. Also, each student will need to fill out a waiver form the 1st time attending.

All intramurals are CoEd.

Please make sure to wear proper attire to each activity.

Attendance will be taken at each activity

Fall Quarter 2009
Mondays
11:30-1:00pm Basketball
-The gymnasium will be available for 5 on 5 basketball games. This activity is for women and men.

Tuesdays
11:30-1:00pm Volleyball
-The volleyball net will be set up for drop in volleyball in the Littick Hall Gymnasium. This activity is for women and men.

Wednesday
11:30-1:00pm Dodgeball
- The gym will be available for dodge ball games. This activity is for women and men.

Thursday
11:30-1:00pm Outdoor Soccer
-The soccer field, behind the tennis courts will be available for a game of soccer. This activity is for women and men.

Walking Club
Meet on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings in front of Littick Hall.
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Time: 7:30am

Student Volunteer Group
If you are interested in volunteering with any of the mentioned intramurals or would like to teach sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, football, volleyball, tumbling, tennis, etc. to youth participants in YMCA programs, Please contact Jeff Radde, Program Director for more information. 740-588-2564
