planning purposes. The Winter Quarter 2009 Final Exam Schedule below
should work for most classes. Do what you can to help
students uncover time conflicts as early in the quarter as possible. |

Final Exam Schedule
|
The instructor is
required to administer the final exam according to the final
exam schedule as published below. Final examinations may not
be given, nor final projects in lieu of an examination be
required, at any time prior to the regular examination
period. All exceptions to this policy must have the approval
of the Associate Dean and must be announced to the class at
the first class meeting.
Exams for courses with labs are scheduled herein for lecture
sections only. Instructors will arrange lab exams with their
students.
Each examination period is two hours and will be held in
the same classroom or lab used during the quarter.
Classes that meet once each week will have final exams on
that day and time during FINALS WEEK, Monday, March 16
through Saturday, March 21, 2009.
** Classes meeting four times each week (M, TU, W, TH)
will test at their usual starting time and end two hours
later according to the following schedule:

** Final Exam Conflict
| In the
event of a Final Exam time conflict, the instructor of the
class that has the LATEST regular class starting time will
arrange another testing time during finals weeks for the
affected student(s). Students should review their final
exam schedule and inform their instructor of conflicts at
the first class meeting.
